Brand marketing and messages are rarely glanced at for more than a few seconds in the busy world of social media, marketing and advertising. Brands and advertisers are desperately trying to figure out how to engage with their audience in a way that sticks and converts.
ConsumerBreak® adds value to clients in the following ways:
Educates consumers about events, promotions, deals, news, products, brand mission, etc. in a fun, immersive way
Promotes a competitive rewarding experience that is fun and generates social buzz
Guarantees that audience spends considerable time interacting with brand content
Motivates purchases and improves customer loyalty
Engages consumers aged 18-40
Clients are offered a customized brand gamification platform to create continuous social puzzle games (“contests”). These puzzles are unique in their glass-like piece shapes, and our technology randomizes the piece shapes for every contest to ensure fairness. Our contests are proven to be a game of skill that requires no consideration, making them legal in all 50 states. Currently ConsumerBreak® is only open to users in the United States who are 18 years of age or older.
Clients are responsible for marketing the contest in-venue and by social media and other marketing in order to get players. We can also create effective Facebook and Google ads highlighting the contest to help reach a wider audience (clients are responsible for advertising costs).
ConsumerBreak® adds value to brands through the interactive engagement provided by incentivized competitive puzzle solving. Players study and attempt to memorize the images in order to do well in the game by solving the puzzle faster and increasing their chance of winning a prize. From announcing deals and promotions to showcasing products to branding a logo or slogan, paired with custom audio that is heard during gameplay, the marketing messages stay in consumers’ minds long after the contest is finished. This motivates purchases, influences calls-to-action, builds brand loyalty, and educates audiences in a fun way.
There are 15 different “levels” to complete in every contest. Each level offers a new puzzle to solve with an increasing number of puzzle pieces as levels progress. Players can choose to view the full image at any time during gameplay, and try to solve each puzzle as quickly as possible by rotating and dragging pieces into place. On the last level (the “Competition Level”), users compete against each other for the fastest time score to get on a leaderboard and win prizes. This level allows users to solve the puzzle up to a total of 10 times to try to get their best time score for the contest. Out of nearly 1000 plays to date, users chose to replay this puzzle an average of 7 times (35s-70s per solve), and spend an average of 10-15 minutes in total engaging with the puzzles in every contest. Unlike other digital marketing and social media posts, every person that enters the contest is guaranteed to spend considerable time interacting with the content and on Level 15 actually memorizing every part of the marketing image. At 1-week long contests (15 levels per contest), this offers a total of 60 unique storytelling points per month that are guaranteed to be engaged by the brand’s audience.
Pricing varies per client, and depends on the audience and brand size. These prices are not final and can be discounted in order to close a contract deal. We welcome a two-week or 1-month free trial as long as the client provides quality prizes and promotes the contests well. Our only operating costs are web hosting, which is currently $16/month but will increase as play traffic increases. All revenue after commission payments will be used toward development of an Android app (~$25,000) and new features. As soon as is available and if a full-time employee is required for content creation + customer service, CEO Natanel Eisenberg may draw a wage on a contract basis at $4,000/month. At this time no one draws a wage of any kind.
Large clients (e.g. casinos, ad agencies, mainstream brands, retail stores, movie theaters, radio / music label networks, online brands w/ 100k+ followers): $6,000/month
Medium clients (e.g. regional stores, established online stores, local radio stations, regional restaurants, STEM/school programs, online brands w/ 20k-100k followers): $4,000/month
Small clients (e.g. local restaurants, car dealerships, gyms, event promotion, corporate training programs, small online stores & brands): $2,000/month
For a content creation premium add-on, we will create engaging and fun puzzle images based on the client’s objectives and existing social media and marketing content. All content would be inputted into each contest after client approval.
Contest details and content may be customized per client. Contest lengths can be set up as a time length (e.g. 1 week), by min. play count (e.g. game ends when 100 plays are met), or a mix of both (e.g. 3-day countdown begins when 100 plays are met). At the end of each contest, we will provide a statistics report and leaderboard with all player contact info to the client. Statistics include number of plays, attempts, replays, clicks, shares, and average time score for every level.
Prizes are provided and delivered by the client. These are intended to provide good incentive to convince users to play through all levels (e.g. free merchandise, event tickets, cash, promotions, etc.), and would only be awarded to a small number of players (e.g. top 10 fastest scores, 5 random players, etc.). Providing brand-specific prizes that can only be redeemed in-venue brings winners back and encourages them to generate social buzz to bring in new customers.
Each of the 15 levels may have the following items customized by the client: title, puzzle image, website/call-to-action link, and social links. A custom coupon or discount can be applied to reward players for reaching any level. A custom audio track can be played that is heard continuously as users solve levels. The client will simply need to send us this content and information via an online form or email, and we will input everything into each contest. As a premium feature, we can create engaging and fun content for every game per client approval.
At this time, the ConsumerBreak app on the App Store allows for one contest to be played at a time. Since we currently don’t have an active client, we can use this platform for our first client. This is ready to go instantly with no time or cost delay. Users would access the contest by downloading the app in the App Store, and a link to this download can be promoted by the client.
Another option is to launch a “copycat” version of the app in the App Store for a one time setup cost of $2,500 (~ two week development time). This will provide the client an app of their own that is branded with their logo, colors, and app icon. The content and admin portal will still be hosted on our servers and we would still keep control of the contest options and content. This allows us to accept multiple simultaneous clients for the least cost & time delay.
For a client that has their own existing app such as a rewards app, we can put together a package of code for the client’s IT department to make the contests accessible from within their own app. This would require a licensing agreement and can be set up within a few days. Users would download the client’s app and can then access the contest from there. The content and admin portal will still be hosted on our servers and we would still keep control of the contest options and content.
For a one-time cost of $16,000, we can develop a feature in the ConsumerBreak app that allows for multiple simultaneous contests in one app. Users would be able to browse a homepage of Pinterest-like thumbnails to choose which public games they want to play, and we would be able to provide clients their own unique access link or password to keep their contest private if that is desired. This is the preferable goal for ConsumerBreak® when funding is available, as Apple will begin to reject new apps that appear identical to existing ones.
